Upcoming Shows (2026):

Love & the Lawless comes to Maris Stella School in Durban on Saturday, 20 June!

One of the joys of this show is that every audience helps shape the journey. We never quite know where the stories, songs and improvisation might lead us — and that's half the fun.

We're especially delighted that this performance is a fundraiser for Amy Aaron, who has been selected for the South African U18 Women's Water Polo Team. Amy is the only player from KZN who will represent South Africa at the World Championships in Spain — what an extraordinary honour!

So do come along and support a remarkable young sportswoman while enjoying an evening of music, laughter, Wild West tales and a little lawless mischief. Everyone is welcome, whether you're affiliated with Maris Stella or not.

'JUST JOPLIN' (Booking essential)
Janis Joplin? Whatta gal! This show is a short, sharp burst of her extraordinary and unpretentious life.
It is both ridiculously fun & ridiculously challenging to play her. She was a beautiful mix of melancholy and total joy – filled with incredible joie de vivre.
I would think it’s a tad presumptuous for anyone to ‘stand in her shoes’ and ‘be her’ to put it mildly. She was one of a kind.
But the band and I hope to bring a little of her soul into this piece: a bit of interesting background, the people she mixed with, the characters that inspired her, and of course, her wild and woolly songs!
